Laser is used clinically to promote healing, reduce inflammation, and relieve pain. It works on the basis of bio-stimulation which occurs when tissue cells absorb light energy.  It is this absorbed energy which effects chemical processes within the cell.  Research in this area is continuing to evaluate the conditions and settings which respond best to this approach.

Laser can be used in the treatment of ligament sprains, bursitis, arthritis, and tendinitis.
